We currently have positions available for highly motivated scientists with interests in nutritional biochemistry, bioenergetics, signaling, and quantitative metabolism in human health and disease.

Research Technicians

Technicians in the lab will manage general lab supplies, rodent colony and breeding, rodent genotyping, rodent surgeries, animal welfare and care, design/perform experiments, and contribute to ongoing projects. Experience with mouse colony management, rodent surgeries, cell culture, and biochemical/molecular biology techniques are preferred. Candidates should e-mail a CV, a statement of research interests and career goals, and the contact information of two references. A minimum two-year commitment is requested for all technicians.

Postdoctoral Candidates

For candidates interested in postdoctoral training, please email and provide Professor McReynolds a cover letter, CV, pdfs of key published manuscripts, and contact information for three references. In the cover letter, candidates should describe their prior research experience, indicate the experimental direction they would like to pursue in the lab, and what they hope to accomplish and gain over their postdoctoral training.

Graduate Students

Prospective students should apply to the BMMB graduate program or Huck Institute of Life Science graduate programs. Interested graduate students within these programs are welcomed and encouraged to contact Professor McReynolds to set up a rotation. Please include a CV with relevant coursework and research experience, and a statement of research interests. The McReynolds lab is currently affiliated with the BMMB graduate program and Huck Institutes of Life Sciences.

Undergraduate Students

We welcome undergrad scholars in the lab who are eager to learn and contribute, while earning an undergraduate thesis. Undergraduates will be paired with a lab member who will train and mentor them.
